3 APRIL 2010 EXTENDED FORECAST
THE WEEK AHEAD - SEVERE THUNDERSTORM THREAT MONDAY(MAINLY WESTERN IOWA) AND TUESDAY (POW COUNTY):
Several rounds of severe weather will be possible across IOWA this week. Low pressure will track toward Iowa on Monday...bringing the potential for hail and damaging thunderstorm winds (mainly Western Iowa-West of I-35). Tuesday and Tuesday Night: A much stronger storm system will track across Iowa...bringing a better chance of additional severe thunderstorms to Central and Eastern Iowa. With the second system, there will be a threat for large hail, damaging thunderstorm winds and possibly tornadoes.....Expect another round of THUNDERSTORMS next weekend......
