CHECK THIS FORECAST MODEL OUT....IT'S DEPICTING THANKSGIVING MORNING. THATS ALOT OF WIND AND SNOW FOLKS.

LOW PRESSURE WILL TRACK SOUTHEAST OUT OF THE COL ROCKIES AND INTO WRN IOWA LATE TONIGHT. AS THE TRACKS INTO NRN MO, COOLER AIR WILL PUSH INTO IOWA AND ALLOW A RAIN/SNOW MIX OF PRECIP FOR MOST OF WED INTO EARLY THURSDAY....

16 Nov 2010 Extended Forecast

Today 16th - Mostly Cloudy - Temp 50.

Wed and Thurs 17th/18th - Rain/Snow Mix Wed thru Thursday Morning - then Partly Coudy and Windy. Highs near 40 with Lows near 25.

Fri and Sat 19th/20th - Dry thru late Sat - then Rain Changing To A Winter Mix Late. Mid 40's with Lows in Mid 20's.

Sun and Mon 21st/22nd - Rainshowers changing to a Rain/Snow Mix Monday.

Tue and Wed 23rd/24th - Mostly Cloudy Tues - Windy and Rain Wed.

AFTER THE 24TH IS REALLY TRICKY. THIS COULD JUST BE THE SYSTEM THAT BRINGS WINTER IN TO STAY......

Thurs 25th - SNOW and Windy - HERE COMES THE COLD!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The big rainstorm that is coming northeast now will have some lake snows on the back side of it, and central Plains folks will be dealing with some snow with a second system that cuts through the Plains later tomorrow and tomorrow night but weakens east Thursday and Friday, so that all that if left are some flurries in the Appalachians. In the meantime, another shot of near-record or record warmth comes out into the Plains and Midwest in front of the cold shot. However, this time the reversal is liable to be roller coaster like with temps in the Plains 20 above normal Sunday and 20 below normal by Tuesday or Wednesday. In a way, it's a preview of the kind of wild clashes we may be seeing this winter.

People get ready. The train is coming.

Ciao for now.
