It's Been Windy - But It's Spring!!!!!!!!
Nice couple of days coming up with Partly Cloudy skies and temps reaching into the Low 70's. The next system is forecast into Western Iowa late Wed, and moving into Pow Cty overnite - bringing showers and Isolated Storms thur Friday.....The weekend will start out cooler with Showers Sat morning. Temps may cool enough Sat Morning to see brief period of Snow mixing with Rain - but nothing significant enough to mention in the overall POW CTY forecast - Western Iowa will likely see an early Spring measurable snowfall - Des Moines could see an inch or two, but will result in a quick melt........
Next week? A Strong system will move into Iowa by later Monday. Expect accumulating rainfall Tues, Wed, and Thurs. We could easily see up to 3" of rain with this system before drying out for the weekend..........
Today: Dry - Temp 68.
Wed and Thurs: Dry and Breezy Wed - Showers/Storms/Windy overnite Wed into Thurs - Temps 70/60.
Fri and Sat: Showers and Breezy Friday - Sat Morning Showers then Dry and Breezy After Noon - Temps Mid/High 40's.
Sun and Mon: Dry Sun - Showers/ Isolated Storms Monday - Temps Low/Mid 50's.
Tues thru Thurs: Rain and Breezy with Isolated Thunderstorms (We could easily see 2-3" of Rain thru this period).
Fri and Sat: Dry.
