No real changes to the forecast over the next week or so. Low pressure over Kansas will track into Nrn Mo. thru the day today, and end up near Chicago by Saturday Afternoon. Rain has spread into SW Iowa on a line from near Des Moines to Ottumwa. Rain will spread North and East thru the day - with rain in Pow Cty around the noon hour.....
Next week looks to be unsettled as the next system moves into Srn Iowa Tuesday. Periods of heavier rain will bring upwards of 3+" into the Srn 1/2 of Iowa......
Today and Sat: Showers/Isolated Tstorms and Windy - Sat Morning Showers then Dry and Breezy After Noon - Temps Near 50.
Sun and Mon: Dry Sun - Showers/ Isolated Storms/Breezy Monday - Temps Mid 50's.
Tues thru Sat: Rain/Breezy with Isolated Thunderstorms (We could easily see 3+" of Rain thru this period).
Sun and Mon: Dry.
