Yesterdays Radar Estimated Rainfall Amounts:  Grinnell 1" - Newton and Marshalltown 1.5" - Des Moines near 2" - Ottumwa 1.8" - Winterset and SW 5-10" caused Major Flooding.

Severe Weather:  Possible Tornadoes in SW Iowa.  Straight Line Winds of 55-65mph reported on a line from West of Newton and thruout SW Iowa.

Grinnell reported a max wind of  37mph - Newton 39mph - Des Moines 56mph - Knoxville 41mph.


Todays Weather Headlines:
Tstorms this Evening - Possible Severe Weather.
Showers linger into midday Saturday - more Rain Sunday.
Drier and Cooler next week - Low Temps in High 30's Tuesday Morning.
