Nice day today with a light wind and temp reaching 80. Clouds will be on the increase later this afternoon as Tstorms develop in SW Iowa. The storms will track Northeast overnite and bring some Isolated Showers into Pow County thru the morning Friday - then Tshowers thru the afternoon and lasting into Sat morning. We could see periods of heavier rain overnite Fri (3/4" thru Sat morning).
Saturday should be mainly dry with only a small shot at any showers. Tshowers will re-develop Sat nite. Expect Isolated showers and storms Sunday and Monday with the Heaviest Rainfall Monday morning (1"). Total rainfall from Friday thru midday Monday - Around 2 inches.
Tues and Wed may just be the last bang for the rainfall. I will look closer in the coming days, but it's looking like we may see a week to 10 days of drier weather after the 22nd.
Today 16th: Dry thru the Day - then Showers overnite - Temp 80.
Fri and Sat 17th/18th: Breezy - Isolated morning Showers - then afternoon Tstorms Fri lasting into Sat Morning (3/4" Rainfall) - then Dry thru the day Sat with Tstorms re-developing overnite - Temps Low 80's.
Sun and Mon 19th/20th: Isolated Tshowers Sun - TStorms Monday with Heavy Rain (1" Rainfall) - Temps 85/88.
Tues and Wed 21st/22nd: Isolated Tshowers Tues (1/2" Rainfall) - then Dry/Breezy Wed - Temps near 80.
Thurs thru Wed 23rd-29th: Nice/Mainly Dry -Temps Mid 70's increasing to near 90 by the 26th.
Thurs and Fri 30th/31st: Isolated Tstorms.
Sat and Sun July 1st/2nd: Dry
