Tuesday, 28 June 2011 Extended Pow County Forecast

A Dry pattern is setting up for the next 10 days or so as High Pressure builds into the Southeast United States.  High Pressure will force the major storm path to our West and North - inturn giving us relatively Drier conditions and Warmer than normal temps - especially over the next week.  The only fly in the oinment will be the upcoming Holiday Weekend when we'll see Afternoon Isolated Tshowers during the heat of the day.  With no major systems forecast into Iowa, the showers by no means will be a showstopper over the weekend or into the 4th..........I wouldn't be a bit surprised if we Did Not see an inch of rainfall over the 10 days to two weeks.

Today thru Thurs 28th-30th: Dry - Temps 83/85/94 - Breezy Wed and Thurs.

Fri thru Sun July 1st-3rd:  Isolated Afternoon Tshowers Fri and Sat - Dry Sun - Temps 92/88/83.

Mon and Tues 4th/5thth: Isolated Afternoon Tshowers Mon - Dry Tues - Temps mid 80's.

Wed and Thurs 6th/7th:  Dry - Seasonal Temps.

Fri and Sat 8th/9th: Tshowers Fri - Dry Sat.

Sun thru Thurs 10th-14th: Dry and Warmer.
