A cold front has pushed south thur Pow Cty and is currently stretched west to east along the Hwy 92 Corridor - expect showers and storms along the boundary. Pow Cty will be mainly dry over the next 4-5 days with temps remaining above normal (Can't Rule Out an Isolated Tshower during the Afternoon Hours). Temps will be near 90 today and Sat, increasing to the Low to Mid 90's by Sunday. The above average Temps, coupled with a return of moisture will push our Heat Index into the 105 range thru midweek. The next weak cool front will push into northern Iowa late Tues, and move thru Pow County during the Wed/Thurs time frame - sparking Showers/Tstorms and drop our temps back closer to seasonal to the mid/high 80's.
Today thur Tuesday 29th to Aug 2nd: Mainly Dry - Temps near 90 Today and Sat - Low/Mid by Sunday with Heat Index near 105.
Wed thur Sat 3rd-6th: Isolated Tstorms Wed/Thurs - Then Dry - Temps Mid/High 80's.
Sun and Mon 7th/8th: Tshowers - Temps Mid 80's.
Tues and Wed 9th/10th: Dry - Temps Low 80's.
Thurs thru Sun 11th/14th: Tshowers Thurs - Then Dry - Temps Low 80's.
