A weakening Low Pressure System in Kansas will move east-northeast today and track thru Southern Iowa this afternoon. The thinking is the system will track along an old frontal boundary that stalled along Hwy 34. If this is the case, the brunt of the showers/storms associated with it will be to our south as well.
The next shot at precip will be during the day Saturday - but once again I'm counting on the main storm track to be to our south - Expect Tshowers Tues - then Dry for the remainder of next week...
Temps for the week ahead will be At or Below seasonal - with the warmest day being Saturday when temps reach near 90 over areas south of I-80, before dropping back to the Low/Mid 80's for all of next week.
Today thur Sat 3rd-6th: Isolated Tstorms After Noon (Possible Strong Storms South Hwy 92) - Then Dry Fri and Sat - Temps 82/84/88.
Sun and Mon 7th/8th: Isolated Tshowers Sun Morning - then Dry - Temps Low 80's.
Tues and Wed 9th/10th: Tshowers Tues - then Dry - Temps Low 80's.
Thurs thru Sun 11th/14th: Mainly Dry with Isolated Showers Sat/Sun - Temps Low 80's.
Mon thru Thurs 15th-18th: Tshowers Mon/Tues - Dry Wed/Thurs - Temps Mid/High 80's.
Fri 19th: Tshowers.
