Thunderstorms developed overnite in NW Iowa and has since tracked East-Southeast with the southern edge entering Tama County as of 4:30am. The storms have dropped 2-4" of rain north of Hwy 30. The brunt of the storms/beneficial rains will stay well to our north - giving Pow County only Isolated Showers/Storms thru the early morning hours - then our skies will go Partly Cloudy for the remainder of the day. By early evening expect showers to re-development - however, once again most of the rainfall will be to our north and east (North of I-80 and East of Williamsburg). Pow County MIGHT pickup
1-2 Tenths of an Inch of rain - with Iowa County seeing a touch more..... The system will move thru our area by early Wed morning - putting our weather in a dry pattern thru the end of the week. This weeks rainfall will be less than 1/4". Temps will mainly be in the Mid/High 80's thru Saturday - with the warmest day being Wed when temps may reach 90.....The next respectable shot at rainfall looks to be next Monday.....
Today thru Sat 23rd-27th: Isolated Tshowers North of I-80 ending after 10am - Then Dry - Tshower re-development after 8pm this evening East of Hwy 21 - Dry Wed thru Sat - Temps Mid/High 80's (Near 90 Wed).
Sun thru Tues 28th-30th: Dry Sun - Tshowers Mon - Dry Tues - Temps 75-80.
Wed thru Sun 31st-Sept 4th: Mainly Dry, Cooler, and Breezy - May see Rain on the 3rd.
Mon and Tues 5th/6th: Tshowers.
Wed and Thurs 7th/8th: Dry.
