Weather Headlines:
Dry with seasonal temps today.
Reminates of Tropical Storm Lee retrogrades west bringing isolated showers to east/southeast Iowa.
Next Week Weather Headlines:
Windy Tuesday - Breezy Thursday and Friday.
Showers Tuesday and Saturday into Sunday.
Temps will range from near 70 to the low 80's (It's Fall).
Reminates of "Old Tropical Storm" Lee has pushed into the Miss Valley. Mostly cloudy conditions will be the rule in Pow County - Expect shower development in east/southeast Iowa as a result (Mainly south and east of line from Bloomfield to Fairfield, to Washington, and on to to Davenport).
Next week will be a bit more unsettled as a couple systems move into the NW U.S. and plunge southward into Arizona and New Mexico. As the upper level flow increases from the west, low pressure will develop in the eastern Rocky Mtns, in turn increasing the southerly flow thru Iowa and pushing our temps above normal early in the week. The first system will move thru Iowa on Tuesday giving us our first shot at a good shower in two weeks. Expect the second, and stronger system to move thru or Saturday or Sunday.
Today thru Sunday 7th-11th: Dry with seasonal high temps ranging from 75-80.
Monday thru Friday 12th-16th: Isolated Showers Tuesday and Friday - otherwise dry - Breezy Thursday and Friday. Temps will start the week out in the Mid 80's, dropping to the Low 70's Tuesday/Wed, and high 60's by Friday.
Saturday/Sunday 17th/18th: Tshowers - Temps near 70.
Monday thru Sunday 19th thru 25th: Mainly Dry (Tstorms Tuesday) - Temps Low 60's early week to Low 70's by weeks end.
