Saturday, 17 Sept 2011 Extended Pow County Forecast

Expect cloudy and cool conditions all weekend with rain moving into Pow County after midnite tonight.  Showers with an Isolated Tstorm will persist thru Sunday and into early Monday morning.  1/2" of needed rain will fall thruout Central Iowa with up to an inch in the South and East.

We'll get a brief warm up Monday/Tuesday as temps creap to the high 70's.  A fairly strong cold front will push thru Tuesday, sparking an Isolated Tshower and dropping temps to below normals (60-65) for the remainder of next week. 


Today and Sunday 17th/18th:  Breezy - Tshowers Sunday (Rain 1/4"-1/2") - High Temps 65/70.

Monday thru Fri 19th-23rd: Isolated Showers early Mon - then Dry thru Tues midday - Tshowers late Tues into Wed morning - then Dry - Temps High 70's dropping to Mid 60's by Wed.

Sat thru Sat 24th-Oct 3rd: Mainly Dry pattern with little to no rainfall - Breezy, Cloudy and Cool on the 24th/25th with temps near 60 before increasing to near 70 for the remainder of the period.
