Expect a blustery week: Dry thru Wed (Breezy Tuesday). A cold front will drop thru Central Iowa Thursday bringing breezy and cooler temperatures and a chance for a flurry or light snow across portions of the area - little accumulation is expected. Temperatures will warm into the 40s Wednesday ahead of the system, with highs only in the 30s for Thursday. Another stronger storm system is expected to push northeastward through the state this weekend. This system could bring widespread precipitation to much of the state. At this time, there's a decent shot at accumulating snowfall across Pow County and eastward.
Today (28th) thru next Monday (Dec 5th):
Precip: Snowshower Late Thursday - Snow Late Sat/Sun (may see some rain/snow mix or Freezing Rain south of I-80). Breezy Tuesday, Thursday, and over weekend. High Temps 35-40, Low Temps Low/Mid 20's.
Tuesday (6th) thru Tues (13th):
No significant storm systems - may see snow around the 9th thru the 11th, otherwise dry and seasonal.
