Sunday, 27 Nov 2011 Extended Pow County Forecast

Blustery week ahead.  Expect 3 systems to affect our weather over the next week.  A dry cold front will push thru Iowa on Tuesday, with a second moving Thursday.  There's alittle more moisture available Thursday, but at the most should only see an Isolated snowshower.  A more significant systems will move into western Iowa Saturday.  This will shift our winds out of the southwest, and draw moisture northward.  Temps look cool enough right now to bring us all snow by Sunday.  Snow amount is questionable - but this type of system could easily bring us enough to get the shovels out.

Today (27th):  Clearing and Breezy - High 38.

Monday (28th) thru Monday (Dec 5th):
Precip: Snowshower Thursday - Snow Sunday. Breezy Tuesday, Thursday, and over weekend.
High Temps 35-40, Low Temps Low/Mid 20's.

Tuesday (6th) thru Tues (13th):
No significant storm systems - may see a snowshower around the 9th/10th, other wise dry and seasonal.
