Friday, 30 Dec 2011 Extended Pow County Forecast

Today (30th) thru next Wed (Jan 4th):  Rain will end around noon.  Winds will become gusty (Gusts to 30mph) out of the southwest. By Saturday morning, another cold front will have pushed into northwest Iowa and move into Pow County later Saturday. Expect Rain during the evening to change to snowshowers and gusty (Gusts to 45-50mph) northwest winds overnite.  Lt snowshowers and Very Windy conditions will last into Sunday with very little snow accumulation. It will be dry from later Sunday thru Wednesday. High Temps will be in Mid 40's Today - Mid 50's Saturday - then cool back to seasonal Low/Mid 30's by early next week. Overnite Lows will be in the Mid/Upper 20's before dropping into the Teens after this weekend..............

Thursday (5th) thru Thursday (12th): Precip:  Lt Rain to Snow on the 6th/7th, and again on the 12th. High Temps in the mid/upper 50's on the 5th - then drop to High 20's by the 6th/7th. Then seasonal thru the 12th. Windy from the 5th-7th (SW to NW), and windy (NW) on the 12th...........

Friday (13th): Snowshowers. Very Cold and Windy.......The weather pattern will undergo changes - Winter has finally arrived......
