Rain and Isolated Thunder will continue today, with heaviest rain this morning thru mid afternoon, before tapering off this evening and ending overnight. The rain may briefly change over to light snow tonight before ending, but with little to no snow accumulation. Additional rainfall amounts in Pow County will reach 3/4", with over an inch to our south and east. Dry and cooler weather will then move in for the weekend.
The next system will develop over southern Kansas Sunday and move into north-central Mo. by early Monday. This system is showing signs of staying farther south than previous systems. This will allow cooler to sink into Pow County. Precip should begin as all rain late Sunday/early Monday before changing to snow thru the day Monday. We could easily see measurable snow before ending early Tuesday.
