Today (28th) thru next Wed (Jan 4th): Two systems over the next 7 days will have a role in our weather in Pow County. The first system will move thru Northern Iowa tomorrow (Thurs) evening and fire off some isolated rainshowers that will last into early Friday morning. We'll start to see the affects of the second, and abit stronger system thru the afternoon Friday. Winds will become gusty (Gusts to 30mph) out of the southwest. By Saturday morning, the front will have pushed into northwest Iowa and move into Pow County later Saturday. Expect snowshowers and gusty (Gusts may hit 40-45mph) northwest winds in its wake. Lt snowshowers and windy conditions will last into Sunday with very little accumulation. It will be dry from later Sunday thru Wednesday. High Temps will be in Mid/Upper 40's thru Friday - Low 50's Saturday - then cool back to seasonal Low 30's by early next week. Overnite Lows will be in the Mid/Upper 20's before dropping into the Teens after this weekend..............
Thursday (5th) thru Thursday (12th): Precip: Rain the 5th - Snow on the 6th, and again on the 12th. High Temps in the mid/upper 50's on the 5th - then drop to High 20's by the 6th/7th. Then seasonal thru the 12th. Windy from the 5th-7th (SW to NW), and windy (NW) on the 12th...........
Friday (13th): Snowshowers. Very Cold and Windy.......The weather pattern will undergo changes - Winter has finally arrived......
