There's no measurable Precip in the forecast over the next week. The only exception will be thru the day Wednesday when some Light Snow may fall with the passing of a very strong cold front. The heaviest snow will fall in extreme SE Iowa - even then, the heaviest snow may be farther south than that.
The big story with the passing of the cold front will be very strong winds (NW Gusts to 40+mph) and falling temps thru the day Wednesday. High temps will be in the mid/upper 40's this weekend, and into Monday - High temp Tuesday may reach the low 50's. Temps will fall thru the day Wednesday into the mid 30's - dropping daily Highs to mid/high 20's for Thursday and Friday, and night time Lows into the Teens.............
The next stronger system to come thru Iowa will be late next weekend (Sun/Mon). This one should skirt SE Iowa again, bringing a minimal shot at some Lt Snow to Pow County. There's a much better shot at Snow Tuesday or Wednesday as another Windy system makes it's way south out of the Dakotas.....
