Thurs, 19 Jan 2012 Extended Pow Cty Forecast

Wind chills of -5 to -15 thru Saturday.......
I'm sticking with the 2" snowfall I've been forecasting for Pow County the past few days for areas south of I80 - Grinnell, Malcolm, Brooklyn, and Victor will likely see 3-4 Inches.......Snow will begin falling in Pow County shortly before sunrise Friday morning.  Blowing Snow will be an issue at times with winds gusting to 20-25mph thruout the day......The heaviest snow of up to 6" will fall along and north of the I80 corridor - and pockets of  up 9" will fall in extreme NE Iowa......   


Today (19th) thru next Monday (23rd): Flurry this morning - then Dry/Breezy - Lt Snow and Breezy before sunrise Friday, and lasting thru the day before ending around midnite - Dry Saturday - Lt Snow/Breezy Sunday - Flurries Monday.

Tuesday (24th) thru Tuesday (31st): Dry Tues - Rain to Lt Snow/Windy Wed - Dry Thurs - Lt Snow Friday (27th) - Then Dry - Snowshowers 29th/30th.

Wed (Feb 1st thru Sat (4th):  Cold!  Dry on the 1st - Snow/Windy 2nd/3rd - Then Dry.
