Tuesday, 17 Jan 2012 Extended Pow County Forecast

High Temps will be Down and Up thru the weekend with Highs only 15-20 Today thur Friday - the only exception will be Wed when we reach 30.  Wind chills will range from 0F-10F today/tonight, and again on Thursday.  Warmer weekend as we may reach 40 by Sunday.

Snow fall will end thru the afternoon today with a total snowfall of 2" in Pow County.  Winds will remain Brisk thru Thursday......Next shot at snow will come late Thursday into Friday with minor accumulations, and possible Flurries Sunday........

Next week?  Very unsettled as strong system pushes into the midwest.  This system looks to be the strongest we've seen this winter and has the potential to be a show stopper between Monday and Thursday next week.  Warrants watching!


Today (17th) thru next Monday (23rd):  Lt Snow ending after noon today with a total snowfall of 2" - then Dry/Breezy Wednesday and Thursday - Winter Mix overnite Thursday changing to Lt Snow/Breezy Friday - Dry Saturday/Sunday - Rain changing to Lt Snow/Windy Monday......

Tuesday (24th) thru Tuesday (31st):  Snow/Windy Tues and Wed - Rain to Snow Thurs/Friday (27th/28th) - Then Dry.
