Wed, 11 JAN 2012 EXTENDED POW COUNTY FORECAST

Temps Today thru Sunday:
Today: 45, dropping to 32 by 6pm.
Thursday/Friday: Near 20. Wind Chill -10 Thurs.
Saturday and Sunday: Low/Mid 30's.....

Significant Weather Today thru Sunday:
Becomming Windy lasting into Thursday with Northerly Gusts to 40mph.  Lt Snow by 4-6pm this evening lasting into Thursday.  1" snowfall expected in Pow Cty with 2"-3" in NE Iowa.

Extended Forecast.
Monday (16th) thru Monday (23rd):
More of the same - with the major systems being forced north - missing most of Iowa as they track across the Dakotas and Mn. We'll see occassional weaker systems track from our southwest giving us a shot at some Lighter Snowfall. I see No Major Systems in this 7 day period that would produce any major snowfall. Daily High Temps will be at, or just above normal for the most part - with only short (a day or two) burst of colder air filtering into Central Iowa.....

Best shots at Snowfall: 16th/17th (Windy/1-2" Snow) - 20th/21st........
