Weekend Storm still on track to impact Iowa late Friday into Saturday. This system looks more like a Spring type storm than mid winter - we may even see some pretty stiff Thunderstorms before rain and sleet mixes with snow Friday Night - and then turn to all snow early Saturday........Snowfall amounts will depend on the timing of Rain turning to Snow - but I wouldn't be surprised to see 4-6 inches thru Central and/or Northern Iowa. Winds will be a factor as well - with gusts to 35/40mph Saturday.............
Today (Feb 1st) thru Wed (Feb 8th): Dry thru Thursday with High Temps 50-55 - then Rain/Sleet and Breezy later Friday, changing to a Winter Mix overnite Friday -Snow/Breezy Saturday - Snow ending thru the day Sunday, then Dry thru Wed.
